Yoga is not about touching your toes ...it's about what you learn on the way down.
My teaching style:
I teach with the intention of making yoga accessible to everyone. You don't have to look like the cover of a yoga magazine to begin a practice...you don't even need to be able to touch your toes!
Creating a class that will help ease stress is also important in the classes I teach. We can get so caught up in the swirl of life...sometimes it's nice to settle in, and quiet a bit. My classes are focused on the mindful and meditative aspects of a yoga practice...with the intention of helping you reach a place of calm and focus.
We hold the poses a little longer, practice yogic breathing techniques, throw in a little meditation every now and then...and, of course, a hearty savasana!
